GM's 1999-2005 Pontiac Grand Am Receives Lowest Frontal Crash Test Score

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave General Motor Corporation's 1999-2005 Pontiac Grand Am its lowest grade for the vehicle's performance on its frontal offset crash test. It received a grade of "Poor," the lowest of four possible grades, and was the only vehicle in the categories of moderately priced and luxury / near luxury cars to receive such a grade.
