General Motors Models Dominate Flop Survey
By James B. Bleeker
Of those models selected as the most likely to flop by a survey of 550 auto dealers, the top six models are offerings by General Motors Corporation - the Buick LaCrosse, the Buick Terazza, the Pontiac GTO, the Chevrolet SSR, the Chevrolet Cobalt, and the Chevrolet Uplander.
The survey was conducted by the financial firm UBS. The Detroit Free Press article discussing the survey made no mention of the criteria auto dealers used to determine the likelihood of a flop.
