In India, Hyundai's High Tech Cars Pave the Way; GM and Ford are Left in the Dust
The Wall Street Journal, in an article on page D3 of its November 12, 2002, issue, reports that Hyundai sales in India went from zero to second place in less than four years. In an earlier article, the Journal reported that DaimlerChrysler is planning to use a Hyundai-designed engine, tweaked for greater power, for some of its North American and European models.
